What are challenges?
Every tutorial comes with a challenge so you can put your newly acquired skills to the test. You will be assigned a task to complete within specific time and technical constraints, simulating a live production environment.

You must share regular progress updates in the form of a blog (one will be created when you start the challenge). Publish the blog to complete the challenge, then come back to this page to see other challenge submissions.

Mid Poly Workflow: Adding Mechanical Context

Overview

Apply the techniques you have learned in the tutorial to add mechanical context to your model by designing a section of its interior. For example, a missile would have internal components such as an engine, avionics, a warhead, a fuel tank, and so on. Your interior section should have an interactive element, such as a panel or window that can be opened and closed. Whether you've made a missile or something else, you should consider whether the components make sense for its purpose, how they would function in reality, and whether you can add animation or an interactive element to enhance its presentation. Remember to gather multiple references before you begin.
